How can I restrict the permissions of the users I add?

In the October 2025 release, Auware keeps users and permissions simple. You can invite as many people as you need to each store, including your own team members who manage campaigns and your clients who want visibility into results. Once a user accepts the invitation, they have access to every campaign within that store.

When inviting a new user, you choose between two permission levels: Read Only or Read/Write. Read Only users can view all campaigns and metrics but cannot make changes. Read/Write users have the same level of access as you, including the ability to create, edit, and publish campaigns. These roles are exactly what they sound like, with no hidden complexity.

We designed permissions this way because agencies often struggle with overly complicated access systems. Many platforms create a maze of roles, partial permissions, and custom settings that take more time to manage than they are worth. Agencies juggling multiple clients do not want to spend hours setting up granular access rules for every user. Our goal was to give you enough control to decide who can edit versus who can only view, without introducing another layer of management overhead.

For clients, this clarity is also helpful. If you invite them as Read Only users, they can log in at any time to see campaign performance without the risk of making changes. If you invite them as Read/Write users, they can participate directly in campaign setup and management. In either case, you can be confident that permissions are clear and consistent.

In short, Auware provides two straightforward permission levels, Read Only and Read/Write, so agencies can collaborate with teams and clients without the complexity of managing detailed access rules.
