Yes. The HTML generated by Auware landing pages is ADA-compliant.
We follow best practices for accessibility, including proper heading structures, alt text support for images, clear button labels, and keyboard navigability. This ensures that the core content and layout of every landing page meets accessibility standards.
It is important to note, however, that Auware landing pages can optionally include your Shopify store’s header and footer. Since those elements are pulled directly from your store theme, any accessibility issues within your theme will also appear on the landing page. For example, if your Shopify header includes images without alt tags or scripts that are not fully navigable with assistive technologies, those issues may carry through.
For most merchants, this is not a problem, since Shopify themes are generally designed with accessibility in mind. Still, we recommend reviewing your theme for ADA compliance to ensure your entire storefront, including the header and footer, is consistent.
To summarize, Auware-generated landing pages are ADA-compliant by default, but the optional Shopify header and footer may inherit any compliance issues present in your theme.
