Can I customize the HTML?

Auware does not allow HTML customization. Templates are locked to ensure speed, reliability, and performance, so you can focus on audiences and copy instead of wasting time tweaking code.

In the October 2025 release, you cannot customize the HTML in Auware templates or in the landing pages that have been published to your eCommerce platform, whether Shopify or Buyist.

While it is technically possible to open and edit the HTML for published pages in Buyist, we do not recommend doing so. Auware was built around the idea that marketers should not need to touch code in order to run high-performing campaigns.

This philosophy is different from traditional page builders, which often invite users to tweak HTML, CSS, or Liquid to “perfect” a page. The problem is that those tweaks slow down the process, introduce errors, and often do not make a measurable impact on conversions. In fact, they can sometimes hurt performance or break functionality. Auware takes a firm stance against that approach. By keeping templates locked, we ensure that every page is fast, responsive, and reliable, without requiring technical oversight.

The advantage for agencies is speed. You can create campaigns, generate landing pages, and publish them in minutes without worrying about technical details. Instead of spending hours fine-tuning design elements or testing custom code, you focus on what matters: audiences, strategy, and marketing copy. Even if the page does not look “perfect” according to someone’s subjective preference, it will still outperform a generic product detail page and deliver the conversion lift you need.

Put simply, Auware does not allow HTML customization because it is unnecessary. The limitations are intentional. They keep you moving quickly and help you generate more revenue with less effort.
