Once I publish, how do I edit the design if I found a mistake? Do I do that in Shopify or Auware?

Edits should always be made in Auware using the Edit Page option. Republish to Shopify or Buyist to update. Auware is the source of truth for content and metrics, so avoid editing pages directly.

All edits should be made in Auware, not directly in Shopify or Buyist.

Auware is the source of truth for your audience-aware landing pages, and the content you create there is what controls both the live page and the associated reporting. If you make changes directly in Shopify, those edits could be overwritten the next time you update or republish in Auware.

To edit a page, simply go into the Auware app and select the campaign you want to adjust. For each audience, there is an Edit Page option in the app interface. From there, you can update the marketing copy, headlines, features, benefits, or other text elements. You also have full control over images, since those are assigned at the campaign level. Once you are satisfied with your edits, you republish to your store. The changes will be reflected immediately in Shopify or Buyist, and Auware will remain in sync.

Keeping Auware as the source of truth ensures that your campaigns stay consistent and that performance metrics remain accurate. Audience-aware reporting depends on knowing exactly which version of a page each visitor saw. If edits are made outside of Auware, that connection can be broken, making it harder to measure results properly. By centralizing edits inside Auware, you maintain a clean workflow and avoid conflicts.

To summarize, always edit audience landing pages in Auware. Use the Edit Page option for each audience, make your changes, and republish. This keeps your content consistent, your reporting accurate, and your campaigns easy to manage.
